Teaching mrdanga has been a major part of syamesvaris life for many years. Although she has lived in Indian most of her life, she is originally from Brazil and has travelled all over the world as a professional mrdanga player. Syamesvari has been teaching mrdanga online and unperson professionally for many years, but her teaching career really took off in 2020 when she moved to Italy and began teaching  mrdanga full time. With over 50 regular students from 20+ countires and a following of nearly 10000 her brand Mrdanga Walli has inspired many people to learn mrdanga. Being one of the only known female mrdanga players within the Bhakti tradition syamesvari has especially empowered many women all over the world to start learning mrdanga.
