About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Noah Juliano is a dedicated Yoga Facilitator based in Los Angeles, California. His upbeat, fiery spirit led him to a spiritual path to find contentment amongst this entropic world. Noah aims to guide others in oxygenating that hurt place, assisting anyone to fall in love with our breath and our movement. Noah’s practice has allowed them to study and teach across the globe for the past eight years.
Noah has been practicing yoga for 14 years and decided to begin his training in Asia for a non-Westernized scope of Yogic History. Noah attended his first 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course on the island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. He studied Hatha Yoga with Akasha Yoga Academy under Burkhard Langemann and Kirstin Sahaja. During the month-long Intensive
training, Noah’s best friend Chris Moe passed away in a car accident back in California, and the Akasha family truly enveloped him in love and became his spirit tribe, accelerating his dedication to the Yamas and Niyamas. After finishing his Bachelor’s Degree at UC Santa Barbara in Film and Media Studies with a Minor in Queer Studies, the Akasha Yoga Academy invited him to assist their YTT month-long courses in Ubud, Bali.
Noah then moved to Bali for 10 months and assisted four courses with Akasha.
Here, Noah completed a Thai Massage Certification, Chakra Balancing Training, and taught Yin, Vinyasa and Hatha Asana classes at the Yoga Shack in Nusa Lembongan for two months.
Noah returned to Ubud to complete a 300 hour YTT certification in Yin Yoga, Pranayama Breathwork, and Meditation. Noah fell in love with Contact Improvisation, Ecstatic Dance and 5 Rhythms whilst in Ubud, allowing for more partner work, expressions of free flow bodily awareness and sacred into their teachings. Noah studied under Devdas Sahaja, Mark Whitwell, the last living student of UG Krishnamacharya, and Bex Tyrer of The Yoga Barn Ubud. Mark truly changed Noah’s relationship to the Breath, as Bex’s background in Trauma Based Mindfulness refigured Noah’s teaching to become inclusive to every kind of student.
After experiencing a 10 Day Vipassana Silent Retreat, Noah enters mauna silence for 10 days annually. He has completed 4 Vipassanās now, including silences at Sivananda Ashram in Grass Valley, Ca, amongst the rice fields of Ubud, Bali, in San Marcos La Laguna on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala, and on the beach of Yelapa, Mexico.
Noah has taught at the La Cumbre Country Club in Santa Barbara, CA, OH Yoga in Orange, CA, Casitas Maraika Beach Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Somos Queer Music Festival in Bahia Banderas, and The W Punta Mita Resort in Nayarit, Mexico.
Noah believes true non-duality is best cultivated and expressed in one person, as their non-binary spirit inspires their practice to teach every human how to paint with the infinite array of emotions we all experience. Noah hopes to inspire others to authentically narrate their own lives, saturated in the Inescapable Now.
Noah now holds private classes throughout Southern California. Classes include Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa Flow, Gentle Stretch, Pranayama Breathwork, Meditation, Chakra Balancing, Ecstatic Dance and Thai Massage
