Steven “Erik” Milosevich

Erik is diverse yet balanced. He started martial arts at 7 yrs. old, a black belt at 14, prior All Army Taekwondo competitor and Krav Maga Law Enforcement Instructor. Later in life he became a yoga practitioner and eventually a yoga and meditation instructor. Erik is a follower of the Yin/Yang philosophy; the opposite, yet complementary, dual polarity of all existence. The universe is made up of energy (prana or chi) and all energy contains balance of Yin/Yang.

2017-2022 Erik is a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor and has given courses to civilians, military and law enforcement. The course consists of three pillars; breathe, cold exposure and mindset. The Wim Hof Method is a science backed program proven to heal and strengthen the mind, body and spirit.

2010-2022 Erik is a Certified Vinyasa and Yin Yoga instructor giving group, private and virtual trainings.

Erik Milosevich designed programs for and trained police officers for over 25 years. In 2019 he created and taught “De-escalation and Mindful Breathing” a California POST Certified Course for law enforcement. He most recently joined Pathfinder Resilience, an organization providing healing and self-improvement training for first responders.

1997-2018 Erik was a police officer with the Santa Monica Police Department. He was a lead instructor for the department and taught classes on; Implicit bias, gender bias, body language and defensive tactics. During his law enforcement career, Erik worked a variety of assignments, including collateral SWAT, Field Training Officer, Police Activities League Officer, Narcotics Investigator, Neighborhood Resource Officer and Defensive Tactics Instructor.

1988-1992 US Army 82nd Airborne Division Recon/Sniper. All Army Taekwondo Team – International competitor
