Maestro Pablo Bardales

Maestro Pablo Bardales is an indigenous Shipibo Onánya (spirit doctor) who lives in Atalaya, Peru. Pablo was born into a family of curanderos and trained under his father and other family members. He has been dieting with plants almost his entire life and has been singing in ceremony since adolescence. He lives with his wife, children, and extended family in the Amazon, where he works as a healer for locals and is building his own center. Pablo is extraordinarily humble and compassionate, and his deep connection to the plant spirit world is clear through his remarkable healing gifts and icaros that touch your heart.
