Julie Kramer
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Julie M. Kramer was introduced to the practice of shamanic journeying in 2000 while attending a retreat at Hollyhock, which enabled her to begin cultivating direct relationships with compassionate helping spirits. Inspired by the teachings that everyone has helping spirits and anyone can learn the practice of journeying in order to form relationships with them, Julie began leading beginner shamanic journeying workshops in 2003.
In 2006, Julie expanded her offerings by beginning to teach advanced shamanic healing techniques for resolving spiritual illness. This precipitated the creation of “Becoming a Spiritual Healing Practitioner” in 2012; a comprehensive three-year training for developing the skillset, proficiency, and capacity needed to provide professional spiritual healing for clients. The natural next step was for Julie to begin training teachers, which started in 2024.
Julie's vision is for spiritual healing to be restored to its rightful place alongside Western and Eastern Medicine, Energy Medicine, psychiatry and psychotherapy, and hands-on healing. She is dedicated to contributing to that effort by continuing to train exemplary spiritual healing practitioners and teachers.
What distinguishes Julie’s orientation is her emphasis on spiritual healing as a catalyst for personal and collective spiritual evolution. Correspondingly, participants in Julie’s transformative circles appreciate them for their safety, depth, potency, and instructiveness.
Julie is based in the Pacific Northwest where she and her wife, Tami Simon, divide their time between Vancouver and Cortes Island, British Columbia, Canada.
