Don Ronor is a humble, down-to-earth, gentle spirit that has devoted his life to helping other people. After the first ceremony, he had a personal consultation with each of the participants to learn about their ailments so he could come up with a specific herbal treatment plan we each needed to follow throughout the 10-day retreat. My physical symptoms seem to go away after drinking the herbal remedies after the third day, and never came back. During the ceremonies, he would sing his indigenous icaros, which were spiritual songs to help open us up to the ayahuasca spirit but also to ground us through the psychedelic experience. Many times it felt as though he was singing directly into me, even though I did know what he was singing. A beautiful voice that sounded authentic and connected.
