Don Enrique is a Shipibo curandero originally from the RoaBoya community near Pucallpa. He now lives in Iquitos and works with Carlos leading the six and ten week courses for the Ayahuasca Foundation. Don Enrique comes from a long line of curanderos and began studying with his grandfather at the age of 11. With over 30 years of experience, don Enrique continues to study, diet, and deepen his knowledge and relationships with the plants and plant spirits. He spends most of his time at the Ayahuasca Foundation’s curandero school, which has become like a second home for his family, where he is constantly planting more medicinal plants, improving the school, and healing and teaching visitors.

I am deeply grateful for having met Don Enrique. He is full of plant wisdom and is very generous in sharing his wisdom with as well as treating everyone who comes to his place. the manifestation of his vision of medicine spreading the globe is growing steadily. If you want to bow to the plants, if you want to learn from the plants, if you are willing to drop from your head into your heart, he is your teacher, he helps you navigate into and through the plant kingdom. especially if you feel ready to align your life with Noya Roa aka the Christ consciousness aka love light & truth.

A True Maestro
I can still hear his Icaros in my mind. Maestro is a true gift and a true healer. I came to the camp in need of healing in order to ready myself to be fit for service and I definitely healed. So many things came to light about myself and Maestro was patient, kind and understanding.
I speak Spanish fluently so that made my interactions even better. I couldn’t image what life would be like had I not ventured into the jungle for two months. I left my life behind so I could learn, heal and return anew.

Don Enrique is a very powerful healer but his responsibilities are so demanding outside of the Ayahuasca Foundation that he was not very available.

Following my review of The Ayahuasca Foundation I will simply say
I absolutely love Don Enrique.
This time around he was even more giving and sharing than my first around a year ago.
I like his deep knowledge, his very pratical approach and his quite raffined sense of humor.
I respect his ways deeply and will return regulary, not always for dieting, but for a hallo and a ceremony...as often as it'll be possible
