Growing up on a farm in the northern countryside of Sweden, Frida always had a strong connection with nature, and a curiosity to learn more. Her interest naturally led her to study Biology, Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Uppsala. As well as a more holistic approach studying Natural Medicine, including: Ayurveda, Yoga, Indigenous Healing, Herbalism and Massage at Biskops Arnö, Sweden.
In Sweden she also studied Reiki level 1-2 at Willow health. After her deep dive into the teachings of Qi Gong and TCM, she also started to practice and study the art of Buddha Palm - sometimes called Reiki on steroids ...
She's been practicing Yoga since 2014, and took her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Cuenca, at OM healing center. In Peru she worked as a Yoga teacher, Facilitator and Masseuse at La Luna Plant healing center and as a manager at Sacred Valley Meditation and Yoga retreat.
Her first encounters with Qi Gong were through different teachers in Sweden. Even though Qi Gong had a big impact on her from the first time, it was not until she met Mr. Curtis in Ecuador that she started to take up the practice in a more serious manner. She is now incorporating Qi Gong as a way of life, studying and practicing daily with Mr. Curtis as well as Lee Holden from Holden Qi Gong, one of Mr. Curtis’ former students.
Under Mr. Curtis guidance she is also learning and practicing the fine art or structural enhancements, acupressure and Qigong massage.
She now runs and owns Pampamisayoc Qigong in Cuenca, Ecuador together with Mr. H. Perry Curtis. They opened the center together in Cuenca 2021. Here Frida holds daily classes of Qigong, weekly classes of Yoga. She also holds workshops and courses every month within the field of Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine, such as Acupressure, Healing Sounds, Inner Smile etc...
