AdPurkh Kaur studied Kundalini Yoga in Vancouver BC and New Mexico, and has led adults and children for 20 years in the discipline. For the last decade she has been a teacher trainer in the Pacific NW and in India. She has worked re-building the lives of those living with mental illness, physical disabilities, substance abuse and schizophrenia. She has taught a professional hockey team, women in the trade, church groups, and people of all ages. During COVID-19, she has been leading a Backyard Children’s programme in Story, Yoga and Meditation. She says “The goal of yoga is to be quiet enough to hear the voice of your own soul - and strong enough to do what it says.
