About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Brendan Dean is a musician, plant medicine practitioner, and integration guide. His intention is to help people empower themselves while they do the necessary healing work. He believes that people already know what they want and need, and that plant medicine makes it easier for them to hear that inner guidance. Brendan’s experience with Ayahuasca and other plant medicines has given him a deep appreciation for the integration process and has helped him develop greater discernment, compassion, and self-love. For him, navigating this journey is about taking responsibility for your own healing, and remembering the power that is already within you.

In addition to his extensive experience with ayahuasca, Brendan has studied with shamans from the Shipibo-Konibo tradition, indigenous tribes known for their work with Ayahuasca and other plant medicines. He also completed a 40-day Master Plant dieta in the Amazon jungle, which served as a powerful initiation that allows him to facilitate this work in a more authentic and skillful way.

Brendan was first introduced to Ayahuasca at a time when he felt stuck in life. He made the decision to trust the call to “meet the medicine,” and has been returning to that trust ever since. “ I just have to trust more deeply in myself, and in the Universe, and just have faith. I think when people really internalize that, when it goes from being a casual cliche into something that is actually felt, I think that is really powerful.”
