About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Courtney is a mother of four and lives in the beautiful Mount Shasta, California. She has been in the coaching and fitness industry for more than two decades. As a Yoga Medicine Instructor, Life and Relationship Coach, Health and Fitness Coach, and entrepreneur, her passion is supporting people with her empathetic listening and recognizing what their individual needs are. She will soon add Grief Educator Certification and Pause Breath work Facilitator to her holistic offerings.
Courtney lost her oldest son, Sam, in April of 2020. Walking herself and her other kids through this grief and trauma continues to be a day to day, at times moment to moment, journey. She is now coaching other people going through grief, trauma, and loss and hopes to create a safe, warm hearted community to those attending her Grief and Healing Retreats. Her strategies, practices, and techniques she shares and teaches are accessible to all, at any time, anywhere.
She also runs a small non profit organization called The Sam Chase Fund, in honor of her son. With the missions of spreading awareness on the dangers of fentanyl and helping young adults thrive, SCF is growing quickly.
As an entrepreneur, Courtney started 27 Robins, an online gift box store. Her focus is on making it easy for people to express their love, support, or celebration. She wants everyone receiving her boxes to feel seen, heard, and understood. She believes in the power of that for EVERY human.
27 Robins Retreats is the newest addition and she is so excited to do this with Heather! Together, they have experience, expertise, and compassion to offer nurturing, healing retreats for others who have lost a child.
