Why study with them?

Rita Savoia is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Functional Breathing Coach, HeartMath Mentor, Cultural Intelligence & Unconscious Bias Facilitator, Ashtanga Vinyasa Instructor, Speaker, and Podcaster. Rita was born in Italy and grew up in Toronto. Graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from York University, and a Master of Industrial Relations from Queen’s University in Canada.

She has 16 years of progressive Human Resources, Personal Development & Career Coaching, Training and Management Consulting experience. In 2012, she embarked on a 7 year entrepreneurial journey, and founded an HR & Talent Management consultancy based in Dubai servicing corporate and individual clients across various industries in the Middle East.

In 2019, she returned to Canada and pursued her passion for Nutrition and Wellness Coaching, and completed a Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition, with first class honours from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. In 2020, she founded Savoia Self-Care Holistic Wellness, with a focus on helping health seekers embrace self-care & lifestyle activities to help them become their own health hero and thrive as they age. Activities include mindset mastery, stress and anxiety management, meditation, breathwork & relaxation techniques, joyful movement, detoxing, fasting and of course nutritional counseling and meal planning.

Given her corporate experience she is also helping organizations maximise individual, team and company's performance potential by providing tools to thrive at work and in all aspects of life and benefit the employees and their families.

She also organizes local and international health & wellness key note speaking engagements, corporate wellness workshops, and destination retreats on various self-care activities that promote healing, emotional release and spiritual renewal.

She is a heart-centered practitioner and passionate about mental health and wellness advocacy, and believes in giving back by volunteering and facilitating workshops on various wellness topics with Covenant House & Delta Family Center in Toronto.

She loves to unwind and escape the hustle & bustle of city life by traveling to different parts of the world, adventure sports, live music, theatre, dance, attending wellness retreats, and of course she loves to cook up a (healthy) storm in the kitchen.
