About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Naaniuari comes from a cultural and family tradition Chawazan Uisiqkamayuq. This tradition has the function to connect with the solar houses and their ancestrel knowledge.
This wisdom we study we use to help others in processes of healing. I come from Chavin de Huantar, Huari, Ankash, Peru.
¨In our Chawazan tradition we use 7 medicines, so called lightnings, master plants. The fundamental is the cactus Huachuma or San Pedro. The cactus helps us to relate with oneself and the world around. We learn to weave, get understanding and perspective and prepare for use of other masterplants.
The plants we use are Huachuma, Uilka, Coca, Tabaco in powder ( rapeh) and smoke ( mapacho), Yantiri. In our family it is important to study and observe with ánd without use of plants. One thing we do is walking to the houses of our ancestors, the mountains, who left us their plants and the cultural temple in Chavin. They gift us with dreams and messages that allow us to study deeper. Our family honours the knowledge they left us, for us to pass on to our children and grandchildren again to keep it alive. We learn to see the universal cosmic world with a lot of respect and humility.
My visit to this territory is to share my wisdom of the mountains so as brothers and sisters of the earth we can find direction towards harmony and balance. With a lot of love we will be sharing, dialoging of things that bring us out of balance and together observe, understand and find ways to transcend.¨
