[PRESENTING: THE NAKED TRUTH] - Everyone has a story to tell and a story that needs to be heard! Join Peter for “The Naked Truth!”, aA workshop where we work on crafting true stories from our lives that are sometimes scary to tell; short, true stories that we thought would go to the grave with us. Loving stories, stories of hurt, awakening, promise or transformation. We queer people have so many hidden memories of love, shame, fear, redemption and triumph. It can’t hurt you when you let it out in the world and expose it! It only gets better when you share it! Your love increases when you tell people how much you love!
ABOUT THE PRESENTER:
Peter has been coming to Easton for four years and each time he is amazed at the love and care he receives from the community, which makes him want to give back in any way he can. He lives on Cape Cod year-round, after being a New Yorker for most of his life. Events five years ago got him to delve deeper into the emotional and spiritual side of being a gay man and reforming his relationships with others. He has have loved listening to stories for years and has experience in telling his own story to groups.
Peter says" I want to hear from you! Remember, you are “only as sick as your secrets!’ Join me in facing your fears and sharing your story in a loving, accepting and compassionate environment. Stories will be shared with the group from a select few who wish to tell them in front of an audience. How awesome is that!?!? So get thinking! Remember a first, a magical moment, a scare, a success, a joy, a hurt. Share it with us! Let us in!"
