In 1986, she sought introspection, finding solace in a Bowen Island treehouse. Angelyn is a celebrated author, weaving her love for animals and personal transformation in "From Squeak to Roar" and exploring her personal journey building Xenia in "Radical Trust." These literary works, endorsed by Marianne Williamson, echo her commitment to guiding individuals back to their true nature.

As a host, Angelyn curates an annual silent retreat and writers residency at Xenia, infusing them with the wisdom gleaned from her books.
