Why study with them?
Gilberto is an Ajq’ij that was given the role of being the guardian of the ancestral city of Tikal, meaning that he is very connected to that land. He is one of the last elders of the Itza nation and has founded a school of Itza language to contribute to the preservation of this ancestral language.
