About Aldea Yakunah
Aldea Yakunah
Mission & Vision
Aldea Yakunah was born in the heart of the Mayan jungle as a space for healing, learning, and community. Our mission is to honor ancestral wisdom, live in harmony with nature, and share transformative experiences that connect body, mind, spirit, and earth. Built with our own hands and inspired by the Mayan cosmovision, every palapa, altar, and path invites visitors to reconnect with themselves and the sacred rhythm of life. We envision a living village where the wisdom of the elders, the medicine of the jungle, and community life flourish together. Yakunah is a refuge of consciousness and transformation, offering ceremonies, rituals, and practical learning such as sowing, harvesting, and ancestral cooking. It is a legacy that inspires and awakens hearts to live in balance with Mother Earth
