Hi! I'm Angel Hiles.
I'm a seasoned Clinical Counselor and a Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional with a knack for blending traditional therapeutic methods with holistic practice.
My mission is to help people transform problematic patterns of the past and create healthy, loving relationships. It is easier to navigate life's challenges when you have the right tools and a trusted guide.
My retreats are getaways centered on sharing experiences designed for well-being and transformation. Me and my team incorporate connection, nutrition, rest, and movement, creating a harmonious balance that resonates with both body and soul.
I empower clients with relational self-awareness tools and guide them in understanding their nervous systems through an integrative holistic approach. Rooted in Polyvagal Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), and principles of Relational Development, my methods pave the way for deep-seated healing and growth.
My academic degrees include a Master of Arts in Education (MA. Ed.), Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor of Business Management from Malone University, a Christian University.
I have trained extensively in additional holistic and therapeutic practices.
I am a Safe and Sound Provider. The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), developed by Dr. Stephen Porges, is a non-invasive application of Polyvagal Theory designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement and resilience.
I have completed second level training in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology, where I am a member. EFT tapping focuses on tapping the 12 meridian points of the body to relieve symptoms of a negative experience or emotion.
Additionally, I am a Certified Basic and Advanced NeurOptimal® neurofeedback trainer. NeurOptimal® neurofeedback is a gentle, safe, non-invasive brain training to help you release disruptive and unproductive patterns that hold you back from experiencing your full potential.
I am completing a certification in mindfulness to bring this technique to you at my retreats (and that you can cultivate in your own practice).
In Mindfulness meditation, you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling without interpretation or judgment. Practicing mindfulness involves breathing methods, guided imagery, and other practices to relax the body and mind and help reduce stress.
I have completed 36 hours of Dr. Dan Siegel's The Mindsight Approach to Well-Being: A Comprehensive Course in Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB) through the Mindsight Institute. IPNB fosters self-awareness by revealing how one's brain influences relationships, leading to personal growth, and improved self-regulation.
Whether you're searching for a guide, a mentor, or a listening ear in your journey of self-discovery and well-being, I'm here, ready to make that journey alongside you.
