About the Teacher

Why study with them?

I have completed my 200-hour teacher training course with Yoga Ashram on 1 October 2022. I am looking forward to share my skills and experience with practitioners and teachers alike. Please get in touch with me if you have any questions.

A bit of my journey: I started bodybuilding training very early at the age of 16. My cousin had a gym and I helped at reception, of course the motivation for me was to be in the room training, as I loved pumping iron at that time!

Later at the conservatory where I completed my acting training, I discovered the body as a vehicle for my emotions, I discovered body expression, fluid and loose movement, the creativity of dance, and it was a whole new vision. If there's one thing that working as an actor has given me over the years, it's this body awareness, this mastery of breathing to serve a character, this internal fire that emerges in each creation and that's why working as an actor is so passionate. However, I always continued to work hard in gyms and later I even competed in the women's bikini fitness category, placing third nationally. Bodybuilding training is demanding, it takes discipline, which is so important for me because as a creative soul I tend to get lost in the clouds! Already pregnant, I started yoga, which I thought was therapeutic and gentle for that phase of my life! Our ideas and prejudices can actually deceive us. Little did I know that the real challenge was to be on the mat, learn to tame my restless mind and work on my flexibility, physical and mental, agility and perseverance. Yoga is a journey of self-knowledge. I have taught many theater classes, which include some vinyasanas as warm-up work and preparation for rehearsals and the stage. I had the privilege of studying with VeenaPani, an incredible Indian who fuses yoga and Ayurveda techniques to work as an actor, where martial arts, dristi and ahimsa were always present. On the journey of the physical body here on earth, I find myself interested in understanding the pains that we somatize, manifesting themselves in tensions or blockages, even illnesses.

My training base is hatha Yoga but it is in ashtanga practice that I have been challenging myself, realizing so many limitations that I didn't even know I had. With Yoga practices I honor the great masters and gurus the left us such a precious gift! Being present as a present! I combine yoga practice with Ayurveda therapies, I am truly passionate about it and have seen amazing results on my clients.

If you are reading and it resonates with you, if you feel blockages, constantly have contractures, persistent physical or emotional pain, a lot of stress or anxiety, I invite you to come and reprogram your body and mind. It's possible!
