Lilith Dragon
Shamaness • Tantrika • Ritual Artist
Affectionately known as Dragon Mata (“Dragon Mother”) by her students and community, Lilith is a Shamaness, Tantrika, Author, Ritual Artist, and Sacred Activist. Her life has been a devoted pilgrimage—traversing continents, stepping beyond comfort zones, and immersing herself in authentic spiritual practice. She walks a mystical path to resurrect and embody our shared global ancestral wisdom from pre-patriarchal times, with the intention to heal and transform the world.
A visionary mystic and healer, Lilith Dragon has dedicated her life to piecing together the obscured, fragmented, and often forgotten traces of humanity’s original mystery traditions. Her mission is to research, reclaim, and reconstruct ancient matriarchal wisdom—long concealed or misrepresented—to create a resilient body of knowledge that withstands the dilution, disinformation, and commercialization that now pervade spiritual discourse. Her work offers a potent antidote to the distortion of the Goddess revival, preserving this sacred lineage for generations to come.
Lilith Dragon is the founder of Matriarchal Mysteries®, a contemporary mystery school offering esoteric tantric and shamanic teachings on birth, life, death, and liberation. This modern wisdom lineage reconnects tantra—one of the last surviving threads of ancient matriarchal knowledge—to its prehistoric shamanic roots.
Her teachings are grounded in:
• Scientific and scholarly research
• Modern therapeutic modalities
• Decades of immersive esoteric practice
• Lived experience among cultures that still safeguard this wisdom
Through Matriarchal Mysteries®, Lilith Dragon revives ancient esoteric practices rooted in humanity’s original spiritual traditions. These teachings endured through the patriarchal age as hidden currents within mystical lineages—often overlooked or misinterpreted. Matriarchal Mysteries®, offers authentic tantric and shamanic training alongside real-life mentorship, empowering future leaders, educators, and healers to become truth-bearers and catalysts for transformation in our time.
She serves as a psychopomp and death and dying guide, combining her experience and expertise as a tantric practitioner and shaman. Her approach blends profound esoteric knowledge with practical, grounded guidance. Over more than a decade, she trained in the Tibetan Tantric Buddhist lineages across India and Nepal, receiving initiations and teachings directly from high Lamas, and devotedly practicing Vajrayana and Dzogchen within their authentic cultural settings. She undertook extended retreats in caves, wilderness power places, and cremation grounds, following the path of ancient tantric Mahasiddhas. Additionally, she was initiated and instructed in the Kaula Shakta lineages of Bengal and Northeast India, where key aspects of ancient matriarchal spiritual traditions live on. She also studied and taught sacred arts, training with masters in temple dance, classical Indian singing, and tantric arts throughout India and Nepal.
Her tantric training and experience with birth, life, death, and dying are intricately connected to her spiritual commitment and professional expertise as a therapist. With over 20 years of experience as a certified therapist, somatic healer, and yoga instructor, she specializes in trauma healing, enhancing vitality, and reclaiming lost life force. Her method transcends temporary relief by targeting deep ancestral origins, focusing strongly on healing childhood wounds and traumas related to intimacy and relationships. This is combined with shamanic guidance, spirit medicine, and giving a voice to those who have been silenced or whose stories have yet to be told.
She was recognized as a shamaness by elder shamans from Korea, who initiated and trained her. Her involvement with Asian shamanism—one of the oldest living traditions, primarily practiced by women—shapes her current work as a shamanic healer and teacher.
Furthermore, she is a ritual performance artist, mystical writer, and sacred activist. She channels ritual performances to bless, protect, and heal the earth and its inhabitants, as well as to pacify restless spirits, especially in conflict zones. She weaves together shamanic, somatic, and sacred feminine elements into all her work. As a trailblazer in the early 2010s, she played a key role in restoring the lost link between belly dance and ancient Goddess rites, pioneering the somatic fusion of belly dance , temple dance and tantra, which has contributed to the current feminine fire renaissance. Her dedication and passion lies in healing, transformation, and sparking the light of solidarity and empowerment across the globe. She is committed to the liberation of all beings.
