Deepak Bhatt

Deepak Bhatt is a professional yoga teacher at Aayaama Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh. Born and raised in a yogic Brahmin family, he has been practicing yoga since childhood. He holds a master's degree in Yoga from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University and has completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training program accredited by Yoga Alliance USA. Deepak Ji teaches various forms and styles of yoga, including Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Aerial Yoga, and more.Yoga Sadhana: He began practicing yoga at a young age under the guidance of a traditional Guru more than a decade ago and continues his practice to this day. He embraces yoga holistically and traditionally, embodying yoga in every aspect of his daily life.

Yoga Qualifications: He holds a graduation degree in science from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, Uttarakhand, and a postgraduate degree in yoga from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University. Additionally, he completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training course in Rishikesh.

Yoga Teaching Experience: Since 2013, he has been teaching yoga in various teacher training courses across India, including Rishikesh, Goa, and Dharamshala.

Astrology: Trained in Jyotish Shastra—the science of astrology—through the guru-shishya parampara (lineage of masters), he studied under an authentic master proficient in yoga, astrology, Sanskrit, and the Vedas. He possesses a deep knowledge of Vedic time calculations and astrology, helping students overcome obstacles in their yoga practice and life.

Yoga Teaching Specialization: He specializes in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, and Aerial Yoga. He is also an expert in alignment and adjustments of yoga asanas and the science of sequencing.
