About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Tzéntsak Saant Juank, a 67-year-old Shuar shaman, hails from the depths of the Amazon jungle in Macas, Morona Santiago, Ecuador. Guided by the Great Spirit from a young age, Tzéntsak was destined to follow the sacred path of healing, a tradition passed down through generations in his family. His name, meaning "dart," symbolizes his unique ability to target and remove chronic pains, both physical and spiritual.

Tzéntsak's journey as a shaman began early in life, having his first profound experience with Ayahuasca, known in his culture as Natem, at just 9 years old. By 15, he had completed his initiation, carrying forward the ancestral knowledge and wisdom bestowed upon him by his father and ancestors. Over decades, Tzéntsak has refined his practice, becoming a master of Ayahuasca ceremonies and other Amazonian healing traditions.

With a deep connection to the medicinal plants of the Amazon, Tzéntsak uses Ayahuasca as a powerful tool for spiritual awakening, helping individuals confront their deepest fears, heal traumas, and connect with their true essence. His ceremonies are not just healing sessions but transformative journeys that allow participants to explore their inner worlds and find harmony with the universe.

At Sacred Seed Retreats, Tzéntsak brings the mystical and potent energy of the Amazon to the serene environment of Vilcabamba. He views Finca La Sofía as a sacred space, ideal for healing and spiritual growth, where the energy of the land, combined with the power of Ayahuasca, creates a unique opportunity for profound transformation.

Tzéntsak’s approach is deeply rooted in the spiritual traditions of the Shuar people, with a profound respect for the natural world and the interconnectedness of all beings. His presence at Sacred Seed Retreats offers participants an authentic and immersive experience, guided by a shaman whose life has been dedicated to the sacred art of healing.
