About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Marina is a passionate wellness and movement educator with over 13 years of experience. Her fitness and wellness journey began in 2010 with yoga and it quickly grew into passion and lifestyle. She graduated from 200 hours Yoga teacher training from Empowered Yoga in 2013 in Wilmington Delaware, USA. The following year she completed Vinyasa YTT at Dimitra Yoga Lewes Delaware, USA and taught at that studio for 8 years.
Years of teaching yoga lead her to different movement modalities such as Cross Fit and long distance running.
Then she decided to go back to college and become a Physical Therapy Assistant. 3 years in PTA school deepened my knowledge in physiology, anatomy and kinesiology. In 2019 she became a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. Her other credentials include:

● Pain Free Performance Specialist (PPSC)
Marina studied mindfulness with Sound True and Jack Kornfield, participated in four Vipassana Silent meditation retreats and studied Yin yoga and myofascial release.
She has worked at small boutique gyms, yoga studios and big corporate gyms such as Life Time Coral Gables.
Among her clients are women and men middle age, professional athletes, people who are recovering from surgery or injuries, or people on their weight loss journey.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Marina's heart lies in exploring the world, particularly drawn to Mexico, Central, and South America. Most of the year, Marina lives in Tulum, Mexico. While she is not teaching or coaching you can find her doing ice bath, temazcal, bachata dancing or cooking.
