Penanay Kamãnawa

Penanay Kamãnawa is the daughter of chieftain Chere Satanawa, and sister of the shaman Môcha Kamãnawa and Shãko. She was introduced to the path of forest healing at an early age. As a ceremonial singer, she travels around Brazil bringing the powerful feminine force of her people. Penanay is also a talented artisan, creating works that reflect the rich culture of her community.
