Eric’s journey is a testament to resilience, transformation, and the courage to face the darkest parts of oneself. A former USAF Pararescueman and Purple Heart recipient, he lived through the Khobar Towers bombing in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, an event that left scars both seen and unseen. For over two decades, he carried the silent weight of PTSD and survivor’s guilt, navigating life with an ache that words rarely touched. His path took a turn when a close friend and fellow pararescueman, who had overcome addiction through ayahuasca, extended an invitation to try the sacrament himself.

In July 2020, Eric sat with ayahuasca, entering a space he had never dared venture before. Until that night, he had been searching for something he couldn’t name, a connection to a higher power, a source of meaning beyond his earthly wounds. Through the sacred journey, he found himself immersed in a profound realization: we are all divine beings, connected by a source that transcends individual suffering. This experience awakened in him a spiritual clarity he had longed for but never truly believed possible.

His healing came in waves, each journey shedding a layer of the pain and guilt he had carried. Slowly, he found forgiveness for himself and even compassion for those who had once been enemies. Eric’s inner landscape transformed as he shifted from surviving to truly living, with a newfound sense of gratitude for every experience that shaped him.

Now, Eric pours his heart into helping others, especially veterans, find peace and purpose within themselves. His journey embodies the spirit of Inekawa: a commitment to transformation, connection, and the pursuit of healing in its deepest form. Eric’s presence is a light for those seeking their own path to wholeness, guiding them toward inner peace, resilience, and spiritual liberation.
