John and Victoria Kula
About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Their ministry journey began in 2005 when they founded The Secret Place Christian Fellowship, an inner-city church in Niagara Falls, ON, where John pastored until their relocation to Darien, NY, in 2012. There they established Freedom Fellowship and Total Freedom, while also broadening their community impact. Over the years, the Kulas facilitated the launch of several ministries and businesses—raising up capable leaders to manage and grow them. These included a men's and women’s residential program, a successful T-shirt company, an auto repair shop, and a take-out restaurant. Victoria personally took a more hands-on role in their candle-making company, which has become both a creative outlet and an extension of their ministry.
In recent years, John and Victoria have turned their focus toward the development of a retreat center in eastern Tennessee. For the past two years, they have divided their time between New York and Tennessee, preparing Freedom Mountain Ministries to serve as a place of healing, prayer, and renewal. They will also be serving as facilitators for the upcoming retreat.
Pastor John earned an associate’s degree in chemistry and criminal justice from Empire State College – SUNY in Buffalo, NY, and a bachelor’s degree in theology from Grace Bible College & Seminary in Atlanta, GA. Both John and Victoria hold diplomas from Word Wise Bible School in New Market, Ontario. Victoria has also completed biblical counseling courses through the American Association of Christian Counselors.
Alongside these roles, John has also served as chaplain at the Genesee County Jail, while Victoria has provided leadership and administration for Freedom Fellowship, Total Freedom, and their business endeavors.
