About the Teacher

Why study with them?

Embarking on the extremely profound and challenging journey of a shamanic apprenticeship began in 2021, in Peru. Since then I have been back to Peru and my apprenticeship has continued through the years. Many questions I had to ask myself if I were to step into this. Very specific questions about my life, family, and experiences this incarnation. I have held many different ceremonies over the years, from cacao, to rapé, to ayahuasca, to huachuma (San Pedro). Of the 2 teachers I have been trained under, one was accordingly the president of Peru's National Shamanic Institute. My first teacher was the stepfather of my second teacher and the mother was there in all of my times in the Amazon. In the lineage of the Indigenous Shipibo peoples, the way this path showed up for me was in the form of intensive dieting, training and ceremony. First 6 weeks, the second 4 weeks, with the second time being more focused on dieta and master plants. Many people have just the initial 6 weeks who are qualified. Practicing since the beginning in 2021 and finally being ready to bring the medicine to Canada in 2024.
