About the Teacher
Why study with them?
Char is a kambô practitioner, counselor, and our in-house vegan chef.
She is a creative and artistic soul, aligned with her spirit and gifts, which she uses to help care for our participants.
Char has a bachelors degree in social work and brings her long experience as a social worker, counselor and lecturer to Almanuna where she guides and support participants to help them integrate their experiences.
Char brings her artistic touch to her Kambô practice and will create a beautiful pattern if the client desires. She also incorporates the Hara lines and meridians of the body into her kambô practice.
She also creates beautiful and nutritious vegan dishes, which we serve at our retreats and after ceremonies. During the summer season, she prepares food from her own garden.
She is currently studying plant medicines of the Amazon & Andes, herbalism, energy work, and also breathwork which she incorporates into all of her work.
