About this Retreat

Ute was born in 1981 in Germany.
In 2015 she moved to Peru to start learning with Amazonian Plant Medicine. Since 2016,
Ute has been dedicated to study in long term Master Plant diets with a well known Shipibo
Lineage in the Ucayali region. Her journey with Shipibo Medicine started in 2015 in a well known center where she joined a three month voluntary program at that time.
Ute worked in different well known Ayahuasca Centers since 2018. Preparation and integration is key for her. It is for this reason that she is happy to additionally be offering preparation and integration services.
Ute’s dedication to learning from plant medicine, interwoven with her passion for
coaching dieteros / plant students along their plant medicine journeys, led her to fulfill her dream of creating her own company "True-Journey" at the beginning of 2018 in Peru. Her experience from years of studying a multitude of interconnected psychological and spiritual disciplines was
peppered with a determination to make working with plants and the courageous people
who seek their wisdom her life’s work. Having aligned with her heart’s calling, Ute has now
been working full time organizing plant medicine retreats, Master Plant diets, facilitating,
and as a Plant Medicine preparation and integration coach.
Ute’s work specializes in facilitating and guiding people in and around Master Plant diets. A Masterplant diet is called “Sama '' in Shipibo. It is a traditional further training undertaken by people who want to deepen their knowledge, and continue their healing journey with plant medicine. This can be done after participating in pure Ayahuasca Ceremonies.
Ute has been undergoing an apprenticeship with descendants from a powerful lineage of
Shipibo healers since 2016. For several months of the year, Ute dedicates herself to
leaning deeply into training with her Shipibo Maestros and the plants. Connecting to
Master Plant and universal wisdom is an aspect of her studies that she has integrated into
her life. Her learnings and connections that she acquires guides her in her personal life
and work life as a facilitator, coach, bridgemaker, and space holder. She does this with
deep respect and enthusiasm.
Ute has uniquely curated an approach to working with clients that intertwines the sacred
teachings of higher plant wisdom with various western psychological approaches. Ute has
completed a multitude of training that have equipped her with the ability to guide those of
whom she works with into deep connection with themselves. Prior to embarking on her
journey with plant medicine, Ute worked for ten years in numerous therapeutic and
educational institutions in Germany.
Ute is a certified “Transformational Recovery and Integration Coach.” She has also finished one year of “Compassionate Inquiry” training with the renowned Gabor Mate. She continues her education by partaking in a plethora of courses which include: Diamond Approach Teachings, IPNB (Interpersonal Neuro-Biology) with Dr. Dan Siegal, and IFS (Internal Family System) trainings with Dr. Richard Schwarz.
Ute views spirituality and psychotherapy as two sides of the same coin. Exploring the
linkages between the two is an fascinating experience that is deeply rooted in
the transcendent work that she offers.

Preparation and integration is key if you want to create a safe learning and healing process with Sacred Plant Medicine.
There is an immense potential in working with sacred plants for learning and healing. There are unlimited opportunities for psycho-spiritual healing, holistic learning, expansion of consciousness, transformation, connection, self-empowerment, creating alignment, exploring truth, etc.
For this reason I love to use the time of preparation and integration to provide guidance, coaching and mentoring on your journey.
In the moment when you decide to take part in a ceremony, an ayahuasca retreat or masterplant diet, your process often starts immediately. Useful emotions, thoughts, happenings in life, reflections, signs, etc. may show up. Everything that shows up is brilliant to observe and I encourage you to collect bits and pieces which you can take consciously with you into your process.
After your experience, your process is still unfolding. The Shipibo healer would say that the plants continue to work with you. This window can last for many months or many years. Things moved and became unlocked, and now it is up to you how you integrate your experience mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, socially etc..
It´s a beautiful opportunity to plant a new garden.
We are especially open and accessible afterwards, so this is a perfect time to build new neural pathways through focus and practice, to release old patterns no longer serving us, to create new patterns and to invite new visions.
Engaging in a ceremony, Master Plant Dieta, or any other kind of transformational work, is about more than the initial experience, as impressive as it may be.

How do I provide Preparation & Integration coaching/mentoring?
My intention in our sessions is to create a compassionate, present space to deepen our discussions and conversations depending on your intentions.
I offer to guide you towards authenticity, vulnerability, clarity and your true feelings. I want to explore together with you where your intentions are and what you like to work on.
To work with Sacred Plant Medicine gives you the opportunity to explore yourself through a new lens of perception. I offer to guide you in your process. My intention is to show you how fascinating this work can be. Even if you have challenging times, there can be a lot of playfulness and creativity while doing the work.
It doesn´t need to be so serious. Humor is great to shift energy in some moments ;-)
I offer support with identifying dynamics and unconscious drivers, finding the roots of pain and suffering, exploring different ways to process emotions, which patterns and belief systems are dominating your life, healing trauma, creating a new relationship to uncomfortable emotions and whatever shows up, I´m there to hold a present, compassionate space for you.
My intention is that you feel safe as possible during your whole journey. I want to invite vulnerability and create a space for all kinds of emotions. Only if we let go of protection, may we be able to connect to who we really are and there we can find our truth. Jesus in the bible already said: "If you know the truth, the truth will set you free".
To invite truth, often we need to allow ourselves to be vulnerable, we need to trust and we need to feel safe, for this reason I offer the whole package of preparation & integration.
