Experience a 3-night, 4-day ancestral pilgrimage retreat in a serene forest sanctuary near Osaka, Japan.
Nestled among bamboo groves and peaceful woodland, this retreat offers a rare chance to connect with the energy of the land where ancient Jomon people once lived.

This retreat is intentionally kept small to honor the sacred nature of the land.
Once all spaces are filled, a waitlist will be opened.

Participants will walk Minoo Falls with guided walking meditation, enjoy plant-based meals, create Magatama pendants, practice bamboo-based movement, Hifumi chanting, and sound healing rituals.
This non-religious retreat provides a sacred space to restore balance, connect with ancestral energy, and immerse yourself in nature and mindful practices.

Directions

🌀 Arrival & Meeting Point

All guests will gather at JR Ibaraki Station (Osaka).
From there, Naoko will personally pick you up and guide you to Jomon Ancestral Circle.If you arrive later than the scheduled meeting time,
please take a taxi from JR Ibaraki Station to the retreat location.
(The ride takes about 30–35 minutes.)

✈ From Kansai International Airport (KIX)

Take the JR Limited Express HARUKA to Shin-Osaka Station (about 50 minutes).
Then transfer to the JR Kyoto Line and get off at JR Ibaraki Station
(about 15 minutes).

✈ From Itami Airport (ITM)

Take the Osaka Monorail from Itami Airport Station to Minami-Ibaraki Station.
At Minami-Ibaraki Station, transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line,
then transfer again to the JR Kyoto Line to reach JR Ibaraki Station.

The total travel time, including transfers, is approximately 40 minutes to 1 hour.

🌀 Before Arrival
We will create a private WhatsApp group for all participants
to guide you step by step until you safely arrive.

You can ask questions, share your arrival status, and feel supported during your journey.

Accommodation

Participants will stay in cozy, traditional Japanese spaces designed to connect with nature. Women can experience a two-story cottage (Kaguyatei) with tatami rooms for small-group comfort. Some rooms have gentle background sounds from nearby roads, blending subtly with the natural surroundings. For women who prefer more privacy, an optional private sleeping style is also available in the second floor of the thatched-roof main hall, using a personal tent and sleeping bag. This space offers a quiet, cocoon-like atmosphere under the natural thatched roof. Men will join a tented, semi-outdoor style within the serene forest grounds, connecting directly with the earth. All sleeping areas are equipped with comfortable bedding and blankets. Shared communal spaces are available for meditation, workshops, and reflection. The spaces are intentionally designed to foster presence, connection, and a deep sense of being.
