Chris has been working with Amazonian plant medicines for the past 12 years and is currently apprenticing in the Peruvian Amazon under the guidance of Maestro Ricardo Amaringo. His passion and experience include 15 years of dedication to addiction and compulsion through 12 step recovery, hospice and supporting end of life transition. Chris is a life long learner dedicated to deepening his understanding with a variety of ongoing studies of trauma support and recovery.
While studying health management Mario began cause oriented health counseling. After graduating he set up his own business and worked in collaboration with doctors helping patients find the root cause. Most recently Mario spent two and a half years in the Peruvian Amazon to expand his range of knowledge. First he managed Centro Espiritual Nihue Rao before immersing himself fully in the study of plant medicine under the guidance of Master Shaman Ricardo Amaringo. Mario is passionate about learning and teaching the Shipibo language.

10-Day Master Plant Dieta Retreat
We are honored to offer a rare and immersive opportunity to connect with the wisdom and healing intelligence of master plants through the traditional practice of dieta. This 10-day retreat is designed for committed individuals who feel called to deepen their healing process and expand their understanding of plant medicine within a structured and supportive environment.
Rooted in the Shipibo tradition, this retreat provides a focused and intentional container for both personal transformation and experiential learning. Throughout the 10 days, participants will be guided through six evening amazonian meditation, supported by strict, diet-appropriate meals that are aligned with the principles of the dieta. Each participant will receive daily one-on-one guidance and dieta coaching, allowing for a personalized and attentive process.
Integration is a central aspect of the retreat, with six group integration circles designed to help participants process, ground, and meaningfully incorporate their experiences. For those who feel interested in going deeper into the tradition, the retreat also offers an introduction to the Shipibo language and the foundational structure of icaros, the traditional healing songs used in ceremony.
This retreat is best suited for individuals who are genuinely motivated to engage in deep inner work and who are willing to approach the process with sincerity, discipline, and openness. Our team holds a safe, grounded, and experienced container, supporting each participant before, during, and after the retreat.
