About this Retreat
Molly completed her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Arts and Dance from the University of Arizona.
Molly was introduced to yoga in 1993 in Tucson, Arizona while on a journey to keep herself healthy as a dancer. Although in coming from a dance background she connected immediately with the asana practice, Molly found herself intensely inspired to learn more about yogic philosophy. Molly’s interests in Taoism and Buddhist philosophy have shaped many of her endeavors, including her pursuit of learning Traditional Chinese Medicine which she now practices both privately as well as in several hospitals.
The concept of fluidity is pervasive in Molly’s approach to teaching, whether it is in dance, Chinese Medicine or yoga. There is not any part of life that is static, so naturally studying, exploring and experiencing life through movement makes sense. When we exhibit fluidity, we have the opportunity to ebb and flow, choose calm or excitation, connect with joy and experience clarity.
Molly believes that the stillness that many seek is not lack of movement, but rather an experience of living in which the energy of the body is fluid and uninhibited so that we might experience vibrance without chaos. Molly endeavors to facilitate in each person that she teaches, the start of or continuation of a journey of wonder and discovery.

Location
YOGA TEACHER TRAINING IN LESBOS, GREECE
Our private location, which today has been completely converted into a center for yoga and the study of energy and healing practices, was originally a traditional Greek tavern and small hotel. The building, which overlooks the Gulf of Kalloni (the sea is just a few meters from the house), is completely secluded and set in a natural environment of exceptional beauty. This area is a paradise for all birdwatchers who come to the island, especially in the spring months, from all over the world to admire pink flamingos, black and white storks, peregrine falcons, and many other migratory birds of rare beauty. The gulf is an important breeding area for many fish species that make this stretch of sea teeming with life. Its location, the natural context in which it is found, the peace, the silence, and the power of the elements, make this an ideal place to fully immerse oneself in the study and practice of the various disciplines, leaving behind all the physical and emotional burdens that normally crowd our lives.

ABOUT LESBOS GREECE
Although this island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is not as touristy as other Greek islands such as Santorini, Mykonos or Rhodes. Lesbos is nonetheless a generous and independent island, with its own well-defined profile in the Greek economy and full of interesting things to discover. It is the home of Sappho (famous poetess of the Classical period), the best Hellenic olive oil is said to be found here. This island is the undisputed capital of ouzo, retsina (local aromatised wine), and boasts a curious and unique petrified forest. Its capital, Mytilene, is rich in historical vestiges and has a great student life that enlivens it even during the long winter months.
The island's nature is lush: millions of olive trees alternate with dense forests, but also leave room for desolate valleys and barren mountains. And then there is the endless coastline, for long stretches unknown to mass tourism, solitary but welcoming, familiar only to the almost 300 species of migratory birds that choose to stop here every year. Lesbos is an island where Greek daily life does not let itself be dazzled by the easy money and somewhat kitsch of boorish and naive tourism. It lives its routine with optimism and appreciates the fact that those who come here have not chosen their destination at random.
