About this Retreat
Nicole is a gifted and trust-worthy space holder, song carrier, and medicine worker. The intention that started her journey over 18 years ago after she first drank ayahuasca was to know herself fully and to love herself fully, and this continues to be a golden thread in her life today that she weaves into her offerings to support and inspire others to connect with the teachings of mother earth and to seek the truth for themselves.
Nicole grew up in Oklahoma, facing multiple experiences of significant trauma in her youth and early adult life. Through grace and strong intention, she was able to meet mother ayahuasca and leave Oklahoma to connect with important teachers along her path - the first of which was the Santo Daime of Brazil, Nicole has been to Brazil 5 times and has worked with Umbandaime, Huini Kuin, Templo Mae de Agua, and Yawanawa. In Peru her main teachers are the Shipibos of the Mahua family the Noya Rao lineage. She has dieted many plants with them. Nicole has 9 months of Dietas now since 2014.
NIcole left the USA in 2007 in search to find her own soul. She spent time in Mexico studying with Claire Ludwig sitting and assisting in ceremony every 2 weeks for 2 years in Tulum, Mexico. In 2012 she made it to Brazil and began to work with the Santo Daime, a church that serves ayahuasca. She began to travel with a rainbow caravan going from one Santo Daime church to another all across Brazil meeting kambo, umbandaime, yawanawa, and huini kuin. She hitch- hiked from Brazil all the way to Mexico in 1 yr doing music and theatre for kids in the schools inspiring them to follow their dreams. In Peru she met the Qero people and San Pedro. In San Luis Potossi she met peyote. in 2014 she began to dedicate her life to the medicine path and began the path of dietas. since then she has dieted 9 months with 4 tribes
She understands to properly hold space for medicine ceremonies you should have 1 yr of dietas minimum. she is still commited to completing the 1 yr. Her last dieta was 1 month in 2022 with Rono Lopez Shipibo in Iquitos, Peru.

Nicole facilitates retreats all over the world, most notably in Peru, Bali and the US. Her intention is to create a safe, loving container where all participants can connect with the Truth of themselves and the Truth of all things. She weaves the knowledge and songs from all the Indigenous groups that she has worked with. She sees herself as serving as a bridge between the Indigenous traditions she has studied with and those who come to her retreats. The generosity of what she shares - such as the songs, stories and practices, are often noted as a highlight by retreat participants. Nicole is passionate about supporting both the Indigenous peoples and those who want to connect more deeply with these traditions and cultures. She is humble and agrees that the medicine is the true shaman. Nicole is a forever humble student with an obsession to learn, share and inspire.

Danilo Inigenous Elder from the Qero Tribe of Apu Ausungate, Peru.
The Qero people of Peru are considered to be the true shamans of mother-earth. They hold great knowledge of the Andean Cosmovision and of the sacred lands of Peru. They reside way up high above 30 thousand feet above sea level in Apu Ausungate, where we will journey during Nicoles retreat.
Nicole first met Danilo in 2014. Nicole has been working side by side with Danilo for many years. She has invited Danilo to come teach us at her retreat. Danilo will be sharing with us his traditional wisdom of the Qero people. He will do Despacho ceremonies offerings to mother earth with fire circle, coca readings, and cleanings of our energetic bodies. Danilo will journey with us to Kinsa-Cocha and to Apu Ausungate. It is an honor to have him with us, he is the heart of the retreat bringing us deep connection, and deep wisdom to the sacred lands of Peru.
Esau Indigenous Elder from the Yawanawa Tribe Brazil, Rio Gregoria
Nicole first met Esau during her dieta in 2019 deep in the brazilian amazon rainforest in his village called Aldeia Yawarani. Esau assisted in guiding her through her 2 month dieta and time there. Nicole then helped Esau to travel out of Brazil for the first time ever to Pisac, Peru. There he was able to guide ceremonies, and sell his artesinian jewelry to help support him and the yawanawa family. Since then Esau has been traveling to Pisac every year. Esau will be sharing with us deep wisdom, traditions , songs, and hapey from his tribe the yawanawa. Yawanawa really are true guardians of mother earth, protecting over 50 thousand acres of amazon jungle in Brazil. Their wisdom is ancient and it is a great honor to have him join the retreat. Esau will guide a rape (hapey) ceremony, assist musically in the ayahuasca and San Pedro ceremonies.
Misty Marie Tomasino, also known as "Mystic Rhythms Music," was born in San Diego, Ca and lived in Costa Rica for 7yrs in her 20's as part of the Sat Yoga ashram & ecovillage. She now is back in her hometown and is blossoming forth with her gifts as she integrates all of her past experiences into a unique path guided by the rhythm of her Heart. Misty is a versatile musician who dedicates her musical prowess as a tribute to the Divine, the Earth, the Human Heart, and beyond. With a heartfelt intention, Misty strives to establish an environment conducive to profound healing, inner peace, tranquility, and exuberant joy. Music serves as both the expression of her soul and her therapeutic remedy. Embracing diverse musical influences, she amalgamates them into an authentic expression, crafting a mystical and heart-connecting experience. Nicole has been coming to Pisac, Peru to live half the year since 2012. It has been her dream ever since to be able to join with other brothers and sisters in retreat in the sacred lands of Pisac, Peru Sacred Valley of the Incas.
The intention of this retreat is to provide an opportunity for brothers and sisters to deeply connect to the ancient lands and indigenous QERO people of PISAC, PERU SACRED VALLEY and the YAWANAWA while communing with plant and animal medicines.
We will open the retreat with a Despacho Ceremony (OFFERING TO MOTHER EARTH TO THE SACRED APU MOUNTAINS OF THE VALLEY) with the QERO brother Danilo to show our respect to the land to pray and to commune with the fire. Next is an opportunity to cleanse the energetic and physical body with the animal frog medicine KAMBO and with a FLOWER BATH to prepare you for the plant medicine journeys ahead. The first plant medicine offered is 1 AYAHUASCA CEREMONY held at villa magica guided by myself Nicole the main facilitator, and the indigenous elder esau from yawanawa tribe, and musician drummer Misty.
This will be followed by a day of rest. On the day of rest you are free to choose, you can relax in the tranquil space of villa magica with rivers and space to enjoy nature in silence and clean air or you can take a short 15 minute ride to pisac town to enjoy the markets and or local activities some days they have saunas, or cacao with kirtan depends on the day. Then we will be grounding ourselves into the sacred sites of KINSA COCHA, and APU AUSUNGATE with SAN PEDRO along side our QERO brother Danilo.
First we will journey up 1 hour above Pisac, Peru to the sacred lakes of KINSA COCHA with our QERO brother Danilo and commune with the plant medicine SAN PEDRO also known as WACHUMA. This will be a light to medium hike through the 3 lakes of KINSA COCHA. We will journey to PUMA COCHA where the spirit of the PUMA lives. We will do COCA READINGS and energetic clearings with QERO brother Danilo. Finish the day by the fire in a maloca with a local QERO family enjoying their local food next to the lake. This will be followed by a day of rest at VILLA MAGICA again with the option to go to Pisac town.
After the day of rest we will go to the most magical AND most sacred place where the QERO live up to the very powerful Apu, APU AUSUNGATE. Apu means the spirit of the mountain. There are 7 major Apus in Peru in and around Pisac and Cusco. APU AUSUNGATE IS one of them and is known as the Apu of the healers giving us great strength and courage to walk our path. APU AUSUNGATE takes about 4 hours to get there from pisac. When we arrive we will enjoy the hot springs and local food cooked by the QERO MOMMICHAS. APU AUSUNGATE has a glacier and 7 lakes surrounding the glacier with each lake having a different color. We will journey by horses and or walking. We will commune with the plant medicine SAN PEDRO. We will focus on the Despacho offering for the land with QERO brother Danilo with COCA READINGS and CLEANINGS. We can enjoy the hot springs upon our return to our accomadation in ausungate and prepare to leave back to villa magica the next day. We will be 2 nights in ausungate.
