About this Retreat
Nirvana was born in a native Mexican tribe then spent much of her adult life as a corporate exec later returning to her roots in Mexico to become a healer, spiritual guide, and yoga instructor.
Charlie was born in a mexican medicine tribe and raised in the US where he built a successful real estate business. Later in life he met Nirvana who led him to plant medicine where he discovered his spirituality. He began teaching at retreats 12 years ago and the rest is history.
Nikky is a Somatic Healing Guide, Breathwork Facilitator, and 300 hour RYT of Hatha Vinyasa. Years of training and devoted practice have led her to connect with her mission of helping others awaken to their unique gifts and next step in their Soul's evolution. Her teaching style blends Eastern traditions with Western science to create a balanced learning environment. Nikky holds a sacred container for each of her sessions, she guides the energy of a class with a clear intention and shares her knowledge of the ancient sciences and spiritual practices in an accessible and digestible way, but most importantly she transmits wisdom through her own personal embodiment.
Omar is our incredible private chef. He learned his craft creating menus and cooking at 5-star resorts around Mexico. Many of our clients have threatened to take him home after enjoying his robust vegan and pescatarian menu. His class and passion for food creates a full aromatic and delightful experience with every meal he prepares. All the food he creates is natural, with farm to table ingredients and created to balance the gut and reduce inflammation.
Guillermo is our staff pharmacologist and does all our pre-screening to make sure everyone is in a healthy condition to go through the healing process.
Begonia is a retreat leader that specializes as a manager, team leader, and certified Yoga instructor at Sayulita Wellness. She has a passion for service and has worked in hospitality her entire career. She supports each retreat participant in onboarding, providing personalized guidance to each participant and is here to answer any questions throughout the experience.
Her mission is to make sure everyone feels supported and that each journey is safe profound and full of ease. Her vision is to see more people find inner peace and calm through yoga and the different therapies we offer at the retreat. She is always smiling and get ready for a warm hug from her upon your arrival.
Ana Ceci started catering events 18 years ago with her moms wedding. After that people kept insisting that she should be a chef. She pursued med school and got certified as a lab tech specialist. After 4 years of a medical career, she decided to take a break and study the culinary arts. She studied gastronomy in one of the most recognized schools in Mexico. Once she finished college, she specialized on dietary restrictions based on religion and worked for hotel chains such as Accor, Royal Park, and Royal Holiday.
She eventually wanted a change of pace, and to live by the beach so she moved to Sayulita in 2014. There she started her own catering company that now includes over 20 employees. She has certifications as a mixologist, molecular gastronomy chef, tea sommelier and currently working on the certification for pre hispanic gastronomy.
Ana also has a degree in social impact from Chamanismo and is the creative mind behind a famous tiktok Channel with over 100k followers where she talks about catholic folklore and witchcraft.
In 2019 she launched the Project Sayulita food garden as a way to impart her knowledge of gardening and cuisine to the community. She is in charge of the Sayulita community gardens. Ana was also previously selected by NASA to make trials on growing Chiles for the international space station.
If she is not cooking, taking care of her son or gardening, she is volunteering for different local associations. She always has a bright smile and will inspire anyone that has the honor of enjoying her gourmet meals.
