Hi nice to meet you, I am Isa.
I am a certified trauma-informed somatic therapist, meditation, hatha yoga (hridaya) and tantra teacher. In addition, I also hold a master degree in biomedical engineering. With both my parents being medical doctors, I was exposed to healing from a very young age. I never subscribed to the approach of modern western medicine where the body is treated as a machine, and I was intuitively drawn to various fields of holistic healing.
Ever since I was a young child, I have been extremely sensitive and fascinated by exploring different worlds and states of consciousness. During my early twenties I dove deeply into various spiritual teachings. I worked in a meditation center and studied Advaita Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, Buddhism, Tantra, Zen, Sufism and Self-Enquiry. Meditation and Hatha Yoga are the main pillars of my spiritual practice and I have done over 20 silent meditation retreats.
My journey with the toad medicine began in 2019. I had already had experiences with 5-MeO-DMT through various solitary dark room meditation retreats. Shortly after a profound grace entered my life as I became the apprentice of a renowned medicine woman in Mexico.
Suffering has been one of my biggest teachers and a profound motivator on my journey. It is through the grace of suffering that I was able to tap into a courage and tremendous power within myself to reach new heights beyond anything I deemed possible.

You can also book some nights here. I recommend this for integration since the area where I live is very peaceful and quiet and very close to the beach (5min walking). We are close to the town as well (7min walking). After experiences with bufo, we tend to be very sensitive to our surroundings (noises, people, crowds, etc.) so it is nice to be able to retreat in a quiet place in nature to let the echoes of the medicine settle in.
THE CEREMONY
A ceremony includes:

-Time for Questions and Integration
A Bufo AIvarius ceremony takes between 2 to 4 hours in total (arriving, preparation, ceremony, integration). On the day of the ceremony, you are guided throughout the whole experience. This is a 1-on-1 private ceremony. So I will be fully present for you and your process. There will be no other participants or people present.
Since this is a private ceremony we can go at your pace and work with personalized doses. You can take the medicine multiple times within the same ceremony as long as we stay within the safe range of accumulated dosage. Most people choose to take the medicine 2 times within the same ceremony (an introductory dose and a higher dose).
I prepare the space physically and energetically beforehand. When you arrive, we will first take some time to settle into the space together and address any further doubts or questions you might have. We then continue with some yogic exercises for the body and mind. We will also practice the method of taking the medicine together, so you feel comfortable.
During the ceremony, I play live music from shamanic instruments and I sing to guide you and add to the magic.
The echoes of the experience continue to be felt long after the ceremony. The resonance of the medicine allows for deep meditation and contemplation for months.
Upon booking, I will reach out to you and we will complete the following preparation steps:
1) Finalizing a date and time for the ceremony
2) I will send you a detailed intake file to fill out containing a medical questionnaire
3) I will send you detailed preparation and integration guidelines
4) We will have a preparation call to get to know each other
LOCATION
The Ceremony takes place in my luscious jungle garden. I live a bit outside San Augustinillo (the town next to Mazunte) in a quiet area and 5min walking from the ocean. The space is very private and it is beautiful to be able to have a ceremony in nature. The resonance of nature's high vibration can be clearly felt when taking the medicine. Afterwards, you can go for a dip in the ocean to enjoy the echoes of the experience and a deeply felt connection with mother nature.
I recommend not booking flights and transportation right away. But wait until we are able to fully confirm your ceremony (sometimes people have contra-indications which do not allow them to work with bufo). If you do want to go ahead and book flights already, please don't book a flight within 24h after your ceremony.
A bit more about bufo alvarius:
Bufo Alvarius is the most powerful entheogenic medicine known to mankind. The Sacred Medicine, given to us by toads from the Sonora Desert**, works in a very loving way and generates immense healing and spiritual elevation.
The medicine is inhaled as vapor and the effects are felt within a few seconds and with great intensity. The peak of the experience begins in less than 1 minute and last for about 5-15 minutes. After the peak, the intensity slowly fades. Most people feel residual effects for up to an hour after having smoked the substance.
The dominant psycho-active compounds in the medicine are bufotenine and 5-MeO-DMT. 5-MeO-DMT (5-methoxy-dimethyltryptamine) is a natural neuro-transmitter in the human brain. We produce this molecule in small quantities every night when we are in our deepest and most regenerative phase of sleep.
Our brain produces larger elevated of 5-MeO-DMT during moments of transcendence, i.e. when we are born, when we have a near-death experience, when we are in prolonged deep meditation and when we die.
Since many describe the experience with the medicine as ‘feeling God’, the medicine is also called the ‘Spirit-’ or ‘God MolecuIe'.
