Carolina Martinez

Carolina, originally from Colombia, lived for several years in Southeast Asia and India where she trained as a Certified Holistic Therapist. She is Yoga Alliance certified (RYT-500) from Sattva Yoga Academy, located at the base of the Himalayas. She delved into different ancestral techniques for the expansion and evolution of being. She has also trained as an energy healer, meditation initiator, and conscious event organizer. Carolina is the founder of Ancestral Retreats, a space where she could deepen into the beautiful and vast universe of yoga and thus continue to live her dharma, serving in favour of the world, and helping to raise consciousness and vibration globally.

Marco Weimer

As a graduate philosopher and experienced German journalist, Marco started his spiritual Yoga journey in early 2017. After his first Yoga Teacher Training in India, he started to work immediately as a Yoga teacher for the Berlin based School “Yoga on the Move“. He is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher (E-RYT 500) in “Hatha Kundalini” and “Vinyasa”. In his yoga classes, every movement is guided by the breath to dive into a deep-flow meditation. His key goals in teaching yoga are motivating beginners and challenging advanced practitioners through dynamic postures and powerful breathing techniques. With his passion for philosophy, he designs his courses as a complete hands-on journey for body and mind. As an experienced musician, he shares Mantras and Medicine Music with vocals, guitar and harmonium

Jorge Quero

Jorge is a Yoga Alliance certified RYT 500 yoga teacher and endurance coach with over eight years of experience. He has conducted extensive studies in anatomy and physiology and has gained many years of experience as a coach. He completed his Hatha Iyengar teacher trainings in India in 2020 and 2022. As a yoga teacher, he pursues the approach of combining his Venezuelan roots and the spirit of South America with the ancient knowledge of the Himalayan Yogis. He loves to practice and teach in a variety of styles such as: Vinyasa, Hatha, Iyengar, Restorative and Yin Yoga. For him yoga means to reconnect with our True Self and nature.

Steffi Neumann

Steffi is an entrepreneur and creator from Germany. Inspired by human creativity, she launched her career in Berlin’s vibrant startup ecosystem. With a keen interest in innovation, leading to influential roles in startup consulting and fundraising, areas in which she remains actively involved up till today.

Discovering a deep passion for mindfulness and spirituality, she adeptly blends these realms with business. Steffi is now the driving force behind “SpiritBabes,” a brand that embodies sustainability and versatility, showcasing her unique fusion of entrepreneurial spirit and mindful living.

Within Ancestral Retreats, she serves as the ambassador for the Portuguese market, having chosen this beautiful country as both her home & business hub.

She continued her Yoga Education with Sound Healing Certification in 2023 in Nepal and dedicated this year to dive into Indias rich Ayurvedic Wisdoms.

I had an amazing life changing experience thanks to everyone working with Ancestral Retreats.
They have all showed nothing but kindness and compassion , while guiding us through our own personal journeys.
Being a solo traveler , in a foreign Country , it took a lot of courage to be able to do this kind of spiritual experience on my own , and they have made it easy for me.
It’s been over 3 weeks since the retreat now , and I sleep naturally every single night (after being dependent on THC or pharmaceuticals for 10+years ) thanks to finding peace within as a result of this retreat.
Palomino was absolutely beautiful, so serene and we were lucky to have the BEST cooking team .. I’m still daydreaming about the experience !!! 😍

The most profound experience

I went there hoping to grow, to learn, and find peace. It ended up being so much more. The retreat leaders were all really cool. They complemented each other quite well. I left there with new spiritually, self awareness, happiness and a bond with the leaders + other participants.

Life-Changing

The retreat was a life-changing event for me. Carolina, Marco, and Jorge had a positive energy to share with the group and me. They are very caring and loving people. They listen to everything you say and guide you. They prepare you and get you into the mindset you should be in for ayahuasca (Plant Medicine). They are always watching over you for your safety and others. They accomplish this by keeping the size of the group small. You can tell and feel how much they love what they do. Also, keeping the group small allows everyone in the group to connect. They provided excellent hospitality and activities during my stay. I cannot thank them enough for everything they have done. I arrived angry and grumpy and left with joy and happiness. They will be lifelong friends to me and everyone I meet in the group.
