About this Retreat
Alice Culligan
Alice first developed an interest in ancestral healing techniques soon after training in Oshui Reiki Levels 1 and 2. Originally training as a dancer, She specializes in Hatha yoga, Vinyasa yoga, and breathwork. She is experienced in holding and facilitating healing spaces, from cacao ceremonies to women's circles to Ayahuasca ceremonies.
She is also a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher, teaching on numerous 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training courses. She is a musician and leads many musical workshops such as Kirtan, Medicinal music, Voice workshops and sound healing.

The Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta is known as ‘el corazon del mundo’ or the heart of the world, it boasts the highest coastal mountain range in the world, being recognised as the 2nd most biodiverse place for species of birds in the world! Expect to see the snow-capped mountains from the beach, it is home for many species such as the Toucan, Hummingbird, Guacamaya parrot and howler monkeys.
Extra optional activities include:
An optional Ayahuasca ceremony (paid separately from the retreat)* with an experienced Colombian female shamana who has over 20 years of experience, consultation before and after the ceremony included. Price $170 USD
An optional Rapé ceremony, Rapé is amazonian tobacco based medicine applied through the nose. It is used to connect to our physical body and to our ancestors, there are over 33 different types of Rapés each with different medicinal properties. Please feel free to ask us for more information! Price $50USD

3 healthy complete and colorful Vegetarian meals are provided each day, our expert Colombian chef uses local produce, local tropical fruits , and vegetables. Expect balanced nutritious and delicious meals accompanied by a delicious natural juice. Coffee and Tea available throughout the day.

UUTTAAKKA means mangrove in the Wayuu Indigenous language , It is magically located between the sacred mangroves and a wild natural Caribbean Private beach .
It boasts a magical wooden bridge which lights up at night and is located a 20 minute walk to the sacred San Salvador River.
Your Private beachside room has a private bathroom and a private balcony with sea views.
You have full use of the purpose built Yoga Shala. Full laundry service available.

Palomino is a lively beachside town, expect artisan jewelry, indigenous woven mochilas, live music and salsa. Many artists and musicians live here, making it a very lively and creative place, there’s always something going on! The reception can easily organize safe transport to take you there and back.
