Kimberly is the co-founder of Ananda Lodge Costa Rica and a certified somatic trauma-informed medicine facilitator and integration guide.

As an empathic medicine woman, Kimberly brings over 20 years of personal coaching and five years of sacred medicine work. Having moved through the depths of corporate burnout herself, she turned to ancient healing traditions for soul reconnection — and has been walking others through those same thresholds ever since. Kimberly is a certified sound healing therapist trained in plant medicine facilitation and integration through the lens of somatic trauma therapy. With deep reverence for the Shipibo-Konibo tribe, she continues to apprentice in ayahuasca shamanism and facilitation. Kimberly holds the ceremonial container with warmth, depth, and unwavering compassion for women navigating the terrain of midlife transformation.

Dana Mistretta

Dana Mistretta's vision is to contribute to raising the vibrational frequency of the planet through holistic healing, education, and service. Her mission is to guide humanity back to the sacred remembrance that the body is a temple and that the kingdom lies within.

As a certified Reiki Master Teacher and Intuitive Guide, Dana brings a wealth of expertise in emotional intelligence, transformational workshop facilitation, guided meditation, sound practitioner, and life coaching. She is a former elite-level athlete, educator, and fitness professional with over 27 years of experience in the health and wellness field.

Dana’s deep commitment to holistic healing and wellness coaching has led to her being featured in more than 20 national and international media outlets, including CNN, MTV, Healthy News Digest, and Authority Magazine. She is also a published curriculum writer and artist.

Currently, Dana serves as the President and Co-Founder of the Sanctuary of Consciousness, a spiritual church that honors plant medicine as a sacred sacrament. Her journey as a plant medicine ceremonialist and Medicine Woman began over five years ago. Her practice has since flourished through her commitment and with the guidance of her Indigenous teachers. She walks the Beauty Way with reverence, humility, and a lifelong devotion to growth.

Dana is a graduate of Bloomsburg University and the Ascension Leadership Academy, and she has completed the Mastery of Leadership Program with a focus on coaching and facilitation. Above all, she lives a life of service, drawing her greatest joy from motherhood and time spent with friends, family, and her pups. Her deepest knowing is that the pathway forward is through the heart and expressing love authentically.

Marian Paniagua

Earth Ceremonialist | Women’s Guide Marian Paniagua is native from Brasilito beach, Costa Rica. Started her personal yoga practice in 2002. Marian is a certified Reiki practitioner under the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage. She leads Cacao Ceremonies, she was initiated in the Mayan tradition of Guatemala and in her offerings she supports her work by integrating the costarican indigenous legacy of the Bribri and Chrotega nations and shamanic practices.

Hannelore Brandt

Certified Breathwork Facilitator | Professional Belly Dancer Hannelore is a certified breathwork facilitator and professional belly dancer dedicated to embodied healing and personal transformation. In her work she offers breathwork, meditation, and somatic movement practices that support deep body awareness, emotional balance, and overall wellbeing. Her work is rooted in lived experience and guided by the belief that the body holds both our stories and our capacity to heal.

A Welcoming Container

While my experience at Ananda Lodge was brief, it was nothing short of warm, welcoming, and supportive. From the start, it's easy to feel the care this team has for their pasajeros. The screening was thorough, as was the communication leading up to the journey.

Kimberly and Jay have a truly special property here as well. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and the cherry on-top of what I truly cared about - a safe ceremonial container.

We had orientation and somatic work before our ceremony and integration afterwards alongside the most nourishing meals. I felt completely at-ease with the medicine carrier and with this team at the helm. It's clear they operate with integrity and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to do life-altering work here. Thank you both for an enriching experience!

Unforgetable Experience

My time at Ananda Lodge was deeply meaningful, and weeks after returning home, I am still discovering how much the experience gave me. My integration journey will continue for months, but I can already say that Ananda holds a very special place in my heart. I actually plan on making this a once a year "must do" from now on.

Jason, Kimberly, and Dana guided our experiences, offered space for reflection, connection, and healing. The ceremonies, breathwork, Reiki, music, and time connecting with nature each brought something different to my journey. Some moments were beautiful and peaceful; others challenged me to surrender, look inward, and meet myself with greater compassion.

What I treasure most is what I brought home: a deeper appreciation for my family, a renewed desire to care for my body and mind, and a clearer intention to bring more love and awareness into my daily life. I can’t say enough about the care, compassion, and thoughtfulness that Emma, Michal, and Kimberly bring to every part of the retreat, from preparation through the retreat itself and into integration afterward.

They support you every step of the way, meet you exactly where you are, and provide the care you need in each moment. Nothing feels generic or rushed. Their support is personal, attentive, and deeply intentional. I felt safe, seen, and genuinely cared for throughout the entire experience.

The accommodations are beautiful, peaceful, and extremely comfortable. The food is delicious, nourishing, and thoughtfully planned to support the medicine and the work taking place throughout the week. Every detail feels intentional.

Where My Soul Found Its Way Home

The Empowered Path Retreat--I came to Ananda Lodge looking to go deeper into my own healing work, this time through plant medicine, and after one phone call with Kimberly, it was an easy decision. From the moment I arrived, their intention was palpable--in the quiet design of every space, from the sitting area to the maloca to the outdoor spaces meant for both community and stillness with nature. Kimberly, Jason, Dana, and the whole team held that intention with such care, offering one-on-one guidance after several of my ceremonies that made all the difference. That care extended well beyond the retreat itself, too--four weeks of preparation beforehand and three months of integration support afterward, with group calls and one-on-one sessions held online to help me carry the experience forward. I left with a true sense of self-acceptance and a felt understanding of what empowerment really means--being blanketed in unconditional love, and realizing how much love I have to give in return. It truly felt like stepping into another realm, heaven found here on earth. I will carry this experience with me always, and I hope anyone reading this finds their own way to Ananda Lodge.

Amazing experience!!

I cannot recommend this more highly . Kimberly and Dana and Jason made me feel extremely comfortable and safe throughout the retreat. I did not have any spiritual experience and was not sure what to expect from the medicine and the ceremonies - I will admit I was a bit skeptical. Given all that - I left Ananda feeling like a new person. Kimberly and Dana held space for everyone and allowed us each to experience the medicine and ceremonies at our own pace. I arrived on my own and left having shared a deeply personal experience with people I love.
