About this Retreat
Savannah's love for mushrooms blossomed in her toddler years when she would savor a can of button mushrooms in one sitting. This early connection and love for mushrooms laid the foundation for her journey as a dedicated psilocybin and wellness retreat facilitator, navigating the realms of holistic wellness with clarity from the very beginning.
Having families with a predisposition to addiction and mental health challenges, Savannah's enduring passion for understanding human happiness and health intensified after overcoming personal traumas, including a heroin addiction and the loss of her father at a tender age.
Her resilience and commitment shone through as she earned a Psychology of Arts degree with Cum Laude honors from Metropolitan State University of Denver. During her recovery from heroin, Savannah delved into the transformative power of cognitive behavioral therapy alongside holistic tools like essential oils, meditation, and exercise.
Building on the foundation of sobriety, Savannah felt an intuitive calling to integrate natural plant medicines, particularly psilocybin, into her life. Continuing her journey of self-discovery, she was drawn to an ancient yogic lineage, Kriya Yoga, where the teachings of Mahavatar Babaji and Paramahansa Yogananda became a life changing force, eventually leading her to the healing embrace of the mother psychedelic medicine, ayahuasca.
Post-COVID, Savannah and Jenny embarked on an intuitive journey, selling everything to deepen their studies in the Mayan lands of southern Mexico, immersing themselves in ayahuasca and the holistic medicines of the Amazon rainforest.
In addition to her Psychology of Arts degree, Savannah holds certifications in various therapeutic modalities, including EFT/ TFT Tapping Practitioner Accredited Certification, Emotional Intelligence Practitioner Accredited Certification, and Transformational Life Coach Accredited Certification. These diverse qualifications contribute to her holistic and well-rounded approach as a psilocybin and wellness retreat facilitator.
Witnessing profound transformations within herself and those around her, Savannah knew it was her calling to share her knowledge of the therapeutic benefits of natural psychedelic plant medicine. Jenny spent the first 3 decades of her life, living a lifestyle of social norms. As a mother of 2, working her way up the corporate ladder, burning the candle at both ends.
Making 6 figures annually by age 30 felt like a great achievement, until at she was diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. After treatment, she found herself feeling different, she tried to return to work but struggled to live the fast pace life she was accustomed to. She was mentally and physically exhausted and her health continued to decline. The sicker she became, the more life fell apart. Her marriage dissolved and her life in the corporate world was no longer an option.
Over the next decade, Jenny went through a plethora of surgeries, including a failed bilateral mastectomy and no wins when it came to her reconstructive surgeries. She married again. Jenny helped her new husband start a new business – she poured her heart and soul into making their business successful. Her health continued to spiral out of control.
After a recent suicide attempt, she was walking through the forest and had an EPIPHANY!! She realized she was living life by a belief system that was not her own. That was the moment she realized… no more suicide attempts. There had to be a greater purpose to her life to still be alive. Soon after she got her second divorce, sold the business and took a leap of faith.
She started cultivating her own belief system, discovering this to be one of the most important secrets to life. This began a new chapter in her life, opening her perception to other ways of being. Paving the way to being initiated into Kriya Yoga International, an ancient meditation practice, which changed everything for Jenny – specifically how she thought, felt and showed up in the world. Jenny had a very strong message one morning in meditation that ayahuasca would easily find her, and she was to begin the medicine path. Within one week, Jenny and Savannah were introduced to a Shaman in Colorado and shortly after drank the medicine for the first time.
Jenny & Savannah founded Souls Moving Mountains, moved to Southern Mexico began Spiritual & Mindset Coaching, while continuing their personal studies with sacred plant medicines and universal law.
Jenny’s expertise in navigating & supporting participants in Sacred Plant Medicine Ceremonies comes from her dedicated study with meditation, plant medicine, and ancient spiritual teachings. While working with the Sacred Plant medicine Jenny, is supported and guided on the journeys by the Masters of the Kriya Yoga International Lineage. She also has received accreditation certifications in Spiritual Coaching, Transformational Coaching, Emotional Intelligence, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), EFT Tapping, and International Nutrition. She believes that it is time to share with the world all of the secrets she has found in this mystifying universe – her purpose now is YOU!
