RETREAT BY INVITED PRESENTER
When was the last time you unplugged from the busyness and worry of daily life and let yourself run free? Calling all burnt out leaders & entrepreneurs—this one is for you! This long weekend will be equal parts personal development and playtime, fusing Amanda’s extensive background in Executive Coaching and Somatic Therapy with old-school summer camp vibes. Amanda will guide practices inspired by MBSR, Somatic Experiencing, Yoga Therapy, and Meditation as well as provide 30-minute 1-1 coaching sessions for all attendees. Join us. It’s time to fill your cup!
"Amanda created a safe and caring environment where we could learn from her and each other. I left refreshed, inspired, and hopeful for what’s ahead. It’s an experience I’ll always cherish."
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Leave your laptops and Zoom tops behind and join us for a weekend that will include group coaching, facilitated discussions, hiking in the stunning Shawangunk Mountains, time for rest & reflection, New Moon Intention setting, an ice cream sundae party (!!) and so much more. You will experience:

Intention Setting: Connect to the reason you decided to show up this weekend. Setting an intention can help direct your energy so you show up for yourself in a more meaningful and specific way.
Group Coaching Session One: Happiness vs Joy: Understand the distinction between happiness and joy, from both a tactical and spiritual lens, and consider ways to orient your life & work around joy, rather than happiness which is fleeting and situation dependent.
Group Coaching Session Two: Inner Child Work: Use a Somatic Experiencing (nervous system) lens to understand the ways your earliest stories hold you back in life and work, and gain insights and strategic tools for healing so that you can show up fully and confidently as adults and professionals. Followed by Guided Inner Child Meditation and Journaling.
Group Coaching Session Three: How to Motivate & Inspire Others: Learn how to use your Pragmatic Positivity to uplift and motivate your colleagues, your family, your friends, and everyone around you effectively.
Group Coaching Session 4 on Cultivating a Daily Spiritual Practice: Understand why, and how, a daily spiritual practice can enrich your life.  You’re busy. You’re not “religious.” Discover how you can commit to something—and actually stick with it. You’ll learn from real life examples and have an opportunity to troubleshoot your personal experience.
Group Discussion on Resilience & Hope: Everyone goes through hard times, but they can be catalysts for growth and expansion – rather than something that holds us back. In this open-hearted discussion, Amanda will kick us off with a dharma talk then we’ll dive into our personal stories to uplift and inspire one another.
Group Discussion on Limiting Beliefs: Nothing holds you back more effectively than the things you tell yourself you can’t do. Get real about your own limiting beliefs, and learn mindfulness- and Parts Work-based tools to help rewrite those outdated and negative stories.
Mini Discussion on Manifestation: Explore manifestation through a lens of energetic alignment, nervous system regulation, and a tiny bit of magic.
Yoga Nidra: Use this “sleep-inducing” meditation to decompress from the busyness of the week and drop into retreat-mode.
Yin Yoga Stretch: Gently loosen and open your muscles.
Light Hike: All fitness levels will enjoy this walk through the trails around the Dharmakaya campus. Chat with your retreat-mates, attune with nature, and move your body.
Self-Exploration Through Arts & Crafts: Create “Higher Self Portraits” using markers, watercolors, felt squares, hot glue and yes – sequins (sorry no glitter – too messy).
Nature-Based Scavenger Hunt: Go back to childhood when every walk was an adventure and every tree stump contained buried treasure.
New Moon Joyful Movement Session: No rhythm, no problem! We will use this time to listen to soulful, soothing music, and move our bodies in ways that make us feel alive as we soak in the energy of the New Moon.
PLUS: Mini 1-1 Coaching Sessions: All attendees will get a free personal 20-minute coaching session with Amanda. Come prepared with 1-2 of your most burning business or life questions that you'd prefer to ask privately.

You and your inner child will be so glad you came!

Easeful Setting
I felt at ease and at home, right from the start. The program teacher was phenomenal, the retreat center director capable and down-to-earth, and the staff was truly kind and accessible. I can't wait to come back. I wanted to give Dharmakaya a good review, though I also like that it's a small and intimate setting. -- Lucia D
