Details of this retreat

We will learn and teach Devaya Yoga™ a dynamic course with an ancestral fusion inspired by Hatha – Kundalini – Vinyasa Flow, which includes components of Ayurveda, Transcendental Meditation, Sound Vibration and Color Breathing. Our approach to teaching yoga is holistic: physical, mental, emotional, professional, experiential and spiritual. It is a multilevel course, suitable for yogis of all levels. People of all ages and body types can train Devaya Yoga™.

We will be immersed in the jungle of magical Montezuma, where the prana or life-force has its own heart beat that beats with ours! A gauranteed magical, positively transformative journey for you and all those whom you meet.

The requirements to participate are essentially the willingness and motivation to deepen the knowledge of the science, practice, lifestyle and teaching of yoga. We train those who wish to integrate the wisdom and ancestral disciplines of yoga into daily life, thus living optimally in relation to health, strength, flexibility, balance, purpose and bio-awareness, all from the source of self-esteem and self-esteem. self-sovereignty.

During the training you will begin by learning some of the distinctive features of the Kripalu approach, including: the Three States of Asanas: focus on posture, deepening of consciousness, and moving meditation; Natural alignment principles; Pranayama (breathing techniques), including color breathing and mantras; Meditation; Pratapan (movements that warm up and condition the body for sustained poses); Coordinated breathing with movement; Micro- movements; the Chakras; the Yamas and Nyamas; the Kleshas and the Koshas among other concepts.

Devaya Yoga™, oriented on experiences inspired by Hatha Kundalini Vinyasa flow, emphasizes: movement inquiries; finding and exploring our own limits; initiated movement of Prana; off the mat application of yoga practice, including skillfulness in action; self-awareness; reliance on personal experience, body sensations and naturally occurring wisdom and Yoga as a practical, reliable approach to health and fulfillment.
DEVAYA YOGA is a registered trademark or yoga methodology since 2008.

Bari Devaya has been leading teacher traiinings since 2012 and has certified atleast 400 people internationally.

The 3 week accelerated 200 hr Devaya Yoga teacher training was an experience I will never forget. The intense immersion into practice left me feeling deeply connected to my being. I developed tools to help me further understand my body, mind and spirit. As a professional athlete and person, practicing a deep introspective connection to self has been crucial to my success. What Bari has created with Devaya Yoga, incorporating color, sound, movement, and humility is truly one of a kind. Having the space to let my guard down, be silly, have fun, and challenge myself was absolutely worth it.
-Mary Rand, The North Face Professional Snowboard Athlete
