Details of this retreat

Treehouse Mycology Immersion where guests can learn about the fascinating world of fungi and walk away with a better understanding of how mushrooms make our world a better place.

Schedule

Day 1: Check-in. Tim will greet you once you're settled and do an intro to mycology that will last anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour. Afterwards, you can partake in the recommended mycology readings and then enjoy the soaking tub and/or cedar sauna
Day 2: Light breakfast provided. You're free to enjoy your day. We can recommend local hikes, you can enjoy the lake that is right up the street. We will schedule a time for dinner and that is when we will deliver your mushroom charcuterie style dinner. Afterwards, Tim will provide another education or discussion session. From there, you're free to enjoy the outdoor shower/soaking tub and the cedar sauna.
Day 3: Checkout. Light breakfast provided. Tim will do one last education session with you.

Directions

Seattle-Tacoma international airport is the closest airport to our treehouse retreat. You will want to rent a car since there is no easy way to get to us using public transportation.

The treehouse will be your basecamp for your stay! Please note, the treehouse is behind our main house where we live, but rest assured you will have all of the privacy you need. The treehouse is hidden in the trees about 100 yards from our house. Our property is two acres total so there's plenty of privacy.

Menu Types

Light breakfast to cover both mornings. Mushroom charcuterie style dinner to cover one night (mushrooms, cheeses, meats, fruit, nuts, olives, crackers, etc.). This can be tweaked to fit dietary needs.

What's Not Included

  • It's best to rent a car to get to the treehouse mycology immersion experience as our location is not near any public transportation hubs
  • This immersion does not include car rental or airfare. You will need to book this separately
