About the Teacher

Why study with them?

My name is Percy Garcia Lozano, I was born on the 7th of September 1973 in the community of Aucayo, located 2 hours from the Port of Mazusa (Iquitos), navigating through the waters of the Amazon River. From the age of 10, I learned my knowledge in Curanderismo from my grandfather and teacher Enrique Garcia Mozombite, inheriting his knowledge and tradition. With Ayahuasca ceremonies and the use of natural medicine, using medicinal plants properly harvested in my personal botanical garden, I am a naturist doctor who masters this science and knows the secrets of the mysterious jungle. Since the beginning of my journey, I have respected  my diets and my ethics as a healer, and I have been able to make a direct connection with the Mother Spirit of different plants; my spiritual doctors. My code of ethics towards my participants and in my life is very strict; the rules are very delicate and very straight. My work as Curandero can be summarized in 3 points: 1.- Respect for the participant. 2.- Respect to God, to Mother Ayahuasca and to Mother Nature. 3.- Respect to the dietas. Now I am also fulfilling a very important role: passing my experiences and knowledge of traditional natural medicine to my students. I also dedicate my work to heal people who come with different types of illnesses: alcoholism, drug addiction, psychological traumas, cancer among others, etc. with much humbleness, devotion and dedication. Because of my efforts and strict diets, I am able to act as a guide for people to find health in the spiritual world. My role in healing is to be an intermediary of a Divine healing: God, Mother Ayahuasca/Nature and my Spiritual Doctors are the healers that are expressed through my humble work. The focus and intention of my work is HEALING and the integration of the participant with the spiritual world. My medicine Ayahuasca is prepared with different plants to treat several illnesses under the direct supervision and request of my Spiritual Doctors. My work is not focused only to produce visions, but to help the participant to find health, peace and harmony in her/his life. In the Spiritual Healing Center Dios Ayahuasca Sanaciones I work in this context to help each participant to achieve what they need.

Percy Garcia Lozano
Just before the annual International Amazonian Shamanism Conference began, in 2002, a trusted friend of mine brought Percy to me, explaining he was an ayahuasquero and an honest man, humble and I could see that as I shook his hand. I immediately invited him to be one of the invited 'illustrious ayahuasqueros' for the Conference. When it was Percy's time to speak, on stage, he was indeed very straight forward and humble. He won the people over and as there are three evenings during the conference where people would choose which ayahuasquero they would drink with, Percy had a full group each of this three evenings.
Over the years, Percy has built an incredible healing center and is reputation is impeccable! I am proud to call him my dear friend and recommend him very highly.

compassionate heart
I first went to DAS in 2010 and I have been returning there every year since. Percy is the kindest and the strongest human being I know. He is humble and generous. He has a huge and compassionate heart. I am honoured to be his student and a friend. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to the Medicine for all the healing I keep on receiving. It is not an easy path but the rewards are tremendous. My life has completely changed. I feel myself growing and becoming a stronger and a better person. DAS is a magical place. People who work there are very caring and supportive. There were many wonderful people I met over the years, who helped me greatly in my process. I would like to mention Matilda, Sarah, Erika, Maria Luisa, Maria Luisa and Amparo, Luz and her family, Roni, Natalie… and many, many other beautiful people who come to DAS to work hard on raising the energies. THANK YOU! The more we are the better it gets!
For those who consider working with the Medicine. Intentions and determination are very important. Every time I arrive there is a moment that I want to run away screaming. Yet I know that running is not going to solve anything. I stay, learn my lessons (ouch some are so hard) and grow through the experience. Some people show up for a ‘trip’ and leave dissatisfied. Some can’t face their fears and run away. When that happens, it is natural to blame the external circumstances rather than self for “failure”. However, ultimately you are the one who is responsible for your own experience.

I wish you the best of luck in your journey!
