Rose is a former licensed psychotherapist who owned and operated a successful trauma and addiction treatment center for 15 years. She is a subject matter expert in PTSD and trauma treatment, having offered her expertise on the hill in D.C., as well as for numerous television broadcasts. She retired from the professional world in the early nineties to found a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the traditions of consciousness from East and West. She has gone on extensive pilgrimage across Europe and India, becoming initiated in multiple lineages which utilize entheogenic, psychedelic sacraments, and receiving the name Jyoti Ma from her Himalayan Siddha master. This was a natural progression for her after having used entheogens in the early 1970's before they were made illegal in the US.  After living in India over a period of 17 years, and completely on retreat for over 30 years, she has returned to the professional world in order to bring forth the leading edge of trauma informed, psilocybin-assisted recovery programs, blending the best of tradition and science into a universally accessible format for all who are seeking and in need. Due to the unique combination of her wisdom and knowledge, she was invited to become a member of the Rules Advisory Committees at Oregon Psilocybin Services.
