Elana Mae

Is a Scottish-Caymanian photographer. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London. She develops photo-compositions that reflect her curiosity for spiritual practices and her understanding of how landscape affects her inner, mental space. McDonough has exhibited work in the tIDal shift group show at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands in 2015, 27Degrees group show at the London College of Communication in 2016, Upon the Seas collective showcase, and Coral Encounters: Photographs from our Underwater World at the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands in 2017 and 2018 respectively. She currently works and lives in London as a teacher and facilitator of tantric yoga and embodiment practices. She is also a certified Restorative and Yoga Nidra teacher.
