Ghost Ranch stewards a place of great beauty to nurture the human spirit and mind, discover the sacred, and care for creation.

Land Acknowledgement
Ghost Ranch respectfully acknowledges that it is located on Tewa Territory. We, at Ghost Ranch, honor with gratitude the land itself and the Native/Indigenous Peoples who have stewarded through time immemorial these sacred lands and waterways.

The land here at Ghost Ranch is specifically the ancestral homelands of the peoples who today are located in but not limited to Nambe, Ohkay Owingeh, Picuris, Pojoaque, San Ildefonso, Santa Clara, Taos, Tesuque, and at nearby reservations, which include Jicarilla Apache, Navajo Nation, and Southern Ute as well as the lands of the Genízaro.

Estudio Corazon at Ghost Ranch
I did a two-week artist residency with Estudio Corazon at Ghost Ranch. The landscape and location are beautiful, and the artist cohort was supportive and fun to be a part of. While rustic, it was totally doable for a city girl like myself. There's a scrappiness to the operation, but what it lacks in polish, it makes up for in natural beauty, inspiration, and a sense of community. Most of the people I encountered at the ranch have been coming back for years, if not decades.
