Our mission is to bring the teachings and medicine of Ayahuasca and the Shipibo tradition to "the people" in a way that is aligned, good and safe. Both Mark and Tara have been of service to hundreds of "passengers" through ceremony and create a solid container, held and maintained by experience, reverence (for the teachers) and respect (for the participants). At Popo Niwe we emphasize the process of intake as well as integration. Having meaningful initial conversations with each participant before ceremony is something that Mark and Tara have learned carries medicine at the early stages of the process, creating a container as well as informing Mark how to channel the medicine to the deepest aspects of a participant's energetic structure on a physical and soul level.
Venue & Amenities
A serene environment on a space owned by a local elder and healer they call "Grandfather." This is an ideal space for working with mother ayahuasca. We will be outdoors and also have the option of doing ceremony inside if weather is not good. The space will be comfortable and open and safe. The atmosphere is well contained and there is a comfortable space for food and gathering. One can sleep under the stars, in a tent or indoors.
