Ink & Paper Italy offers immersive, hands-on retreats that bring people together through creativity, place, and shared experience. Founded by printmaker and educator Megan Hunter, the retreat was created to share a deep love of printmaking and to help preserve and promote the art through accessible, non-toxic processes—while welcoming anyone drawn to making, learning, and slowing down.
With over twenty years of teaching experience, Megan is passionate about sharing both technical skills and the quiet satisfaction of working with ink and paper. Retreats are held in a lovingly restored Italian villa, whose owner jointly shares a respect for craft, care, and legacy. Villa LeMura is a beautifully restored 18th-century Umbrian villa set among rolling hills and olive groves near the medieval village of Panicale. Guests have exclusive use of the entire villa and its four acres of gardens, including salons, sitting rooms, a historic chapel, and a scenic in-ground pool with countryside views. Guests have full access to the printmaking studio, housed in the villa’s cantina.

Directions
We offer complimentary transfers from Chiusi–Chianciano Terme railway station between 15:00 and 17:30 on arrival day, and return transfers on departure morning. We are more than happy to assist you navigate your trip from your arrival in Italy to your arrival at Chiusi station.
