Mission & Vision
Still Salty Escape is a small, fully locally run surf and yoga retreat center on Nicaragua's uncrowded northern Pacific coast, built so hosts can focus on their people and guests can simply arrive and exhale. Surf out front, yoga twice a day, and farm-fresh meals from our organic garden, all cared for by a local team led by managers Rafa and Francisco. Our vision is to become the coast wellness leaders choose first: the oceanfront escape of Costa Rica, Bali, or Tulum at a place that still feels undiscovered and gives back with every booking. We hire from the community and support local causes year-round, so every retreat leaves this place stronger. Strangers arrive and leave as friends.

We’re a cozy, community-style establishment nestled between abundant gardens & the warmth of the Pacific Ocean. It’s no exaggeration to say that we have the best sunset views around.
Our property stretches across nearly two acres of land, with sprawling gardens between each structure, which help to feed our guests organic, homegrown produce. You can surf right out front, or take a 5-minute walk to the well-known Nahualapa Bay for consistent waves.

Directions
The closest airport is Augusto C. Sandino International Airport (MGA) in Managua, Nicaragua, about 3.5 hours from us by car.
Transportation is not included in your booking price, yet we CAN help you book taxis. Additionally, we can connect you with our drivers to arrange directly with them.
A taxi to/from the airport costs $100 - $120 for the entire car or van. Please let us or the driver know if you’re traveling with large bags and/or surfboards, so the correct vehicle will be waiting for you.
You will pay your driver directly with cordobas or USD.
