Our beautiful new Maloka offers ample space for the ceremonies and impresses with its intricate interior roof structure and is a sacred space to receive healing.
The jungle tambos that give a more immersive jungle diet experience are nestled at the back of the property. The standard rooms are closer to the Maloka and the kitchen/community space and right by the kitchen/dining space there is a beautiful pond that attracts all sorts of wild life.

Directions
To travel to Caya Shobo you will need to fly to Iquitos airport in Peru. Your journey will typically include a stop in Lima (which is about a 2 hour flight from Iquitos).
We will send an independent moto-car driver to pick you up and bring you to Caya Shobo which is a short 25 minute drive from Iquitos airport.

Healing at Caya Shobo
I spent 12 days at Caya Shobo in August 2026, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, I’d done ayahuasca several times but never with a plant dieta and fully immersed in a program like this. I am very happy with my experience at Caya Shobo. You can tell that the facilitators and shamans here are genuinely invested in your well being. We had daily conversations about what we were experiencing and the experienced and knowledgeable facilitators were always available to talk to us whenever something came up. If you’re looking for an ayahuasca experience where true healing and growth is your objective I couldn’t imagine finding a better place than Caya Shobo. This place really is making the world a better place by truly helping people and keeping the traditions of the Shibipo people alive.

From the first day, I felt held — not in a scripted, "retreat brochure" kind of way, but genuinely cared for. The people there listen, they pay attention to what you actually need, and nothing feels rushed or performative. The setting helps too — there's a stillness there that makes it easier to actually be present, to feel things instead of just thinking about them.
What I appreciated most was the honesty of the whole experience. No promises of instant miracles, no forced positivity — just real space to go inward, supported by people who clearly know what they're doing and care about doing it right.

7-Day Dieta Cleanse
I just participated online at the 7 Day Dieta Cleanse. I was surprised that it went much deeper than I could have imagined. There was one day when I went through emotional waves of fear, anger, and sadness, which I was simply able to observe. I first perceived the cleansing in my dreams as clear water and later as a feeling of happiness.
What I really appreciated were the precise, step-by-step instructions for the flower and steam bath.
